TAO Social
Together As One is decentralized platform governed by its users, with all profit reinvested into the community.
A true digital commons: By the people. For the people. With the people.
Let’s Build Something Unfuckwithable.
No Shareholders Or Equity
No sellouts or takeovers. Won’t be sold off to a billionaire or hijacked by corporate interests. Always remains in the hands of those it was designed to serve.
No Shareholders or Equity
Team Human
We are team human vs everything that seeks to keep us divided. The platform itself is politically neutral so that it can hold space for people from all walks of life – and their diversity of beliefs and ideas.
All Profit Reinvested Into the Community
Phased Decentralization
In order to make ourselves maximally “unfuckwithable” decentralization is a priority for this platform.
We will take a phased, funding-depending approach to this.
Collectively Governed
Post MVP, we will be piloting a system of collective governance – ensuring that this platform truly remains by the people, for the people, with the people.
Collectively Governed
Crowd Powered
We’ve crowdsourced early and often. Almost all of the core team was surfaced anonymously through Reddit, and the way we involve our collective’s insight is a unique edge.
All profit reinvested into the communtiy
Outside of covering operational expenses and providing better Creator pay, the collective decides how to use revenue for systemic change.
What could everyday people do with $80 billion?
If TAO Social scaled to have a userbase the size of other major social media platforms, it would be like a mech suit for the People vs the systems that serve none of us. And if we snagged 10% of revenue from top monopolies, we’d have tens of billions of dollars that the collective could vote to direct toward systemic change.
This is about more than a social media app. It’s a reclamation of power.
-
By introducing trade and microeconomies that champion small and local business, we can connect people back to their communities — cutting out middlemen like Amazon.
Imagine being able to pull up a local version of TikTok that shows you your nearest farmers…and being able to order a CSA box or half a cattle directly through the app.
Imagine TikTok Shop if it was not predominantly dropshipped knock-offs from China.
-
If the American userbase was similar to the size of TikTok, we could introduce not-for-profit, co-op insurance to everyone on the platform. And watch the legacy insurance industry crumble overnight.
Rise and repeat. Which system do we overturn next? All it takes is solidarity, and enough of us redirecting our attention and wallets to the right efforts.
-
Did you see that guy on TikTok who invented a double-helix shaped windmill to ensure that no matter what direction the wind was blowing, the device would always generate energy?
What if the platform didn’t just surface ideas like that — but it gave grants to the ideas the Crowd wants to see come to life?
This becomes not just a social media platform, but a think tank and fund for real-world solutions.
Because the greatest challenges we face can all be solved by pooling the collective’s creativity, expertise, and ideas.
-
Every movement that changed history started with people coming together—and those in power have spent decades ensuring that never happens again.
What if we built the infrastructure to reverse that?
A platform that allows everyday people to connect within their local voting districts. A tool that helps communities align on issues and take real action. Not an old-school political party. Not another social media echo chamber. A functional, working system for direct, grassroots democracy.
Imagine:
A network where people can fund and support local candidates who actually represent them—sidestepping corporate-funded elections.
A civic engagement fund that pays organizers to do the real work: educating people, building local networks, and creating on-the-ground solutions.
A way to pool resources to flip local governments, ensuring policies reflect the needs of the people, not the interests of a few.
This isn’t about advertising campaigns or media narratives. It’s about small, practical tools—a simple directory for finding local representatives, a decentralized voting bloc, a funding mechanism for grassroots action.
A billion dollars could fund 10,000 full-time organizers at $100K/year. With $80 billion, we could fund an entire generation of local change-makers—and completely rewrite the rules of engagement.
Because the only thing those in power fear more than social media, creators, or the gig economy?
People uniting in a way that actually gives them control of the system.
Is TAO Really So Different?
There’s a whole new wave of next gen social media platforms entering the battlefield. Many are decentralized, all pledge to be better behaved. None of them go as far as TAO.

The real revolution is people-first.
User-first.
Creator-first.
Human-First.
And we need your help.
The only way we pull this off is if enough people get on board — standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our neighbors.
